Samantha Webb Obituary

Samantha Webb, age 40, loving wife, mother, and sister was taken too early on March 20th, 2024 at Rochester General Hospital following a hard fought battle with cancer. She never gave up hope and fought until the very end.

Sam was very compassionate and loving. She was always willing to help in any way even to those that did not deserve her generosity.  Sam was quick witted with a sense of humor that prompted her siblings to remind her she was “just like Dad”.  Those qualities gave her the ability to excel in customer service.  Over the years she held various roles in the customer service and hospitality industries; however, her heart and passion was with Texas Roadhouse. She was a respected leader and a valuable team member with her fellow “Roadies”.  So much so, that as her sons became of age, they both joined her as Texas Roadhouse employees. She was very excited and proud to have been working beside them, guiding them as they learned the food service industry.

During their 20+ years of marriage, she and Billy raised 2 sons, both now teenagers, her boys were the primary focus in life. As a family they enjoyed vacations and nights out together. Sam enjoyed time with her siblings and their families, often on weekends, they could be found together enjoying the nice weather, at a cookout or bonfire. If the weather was bad outside, then everyone could be found around a table inside. Rarely ever was a weekend missed where everyone was not together. Many memories were made from the good times full of laughter, the odd conversations and the “Hey Girl” nights. The nieces and nephews all agree that Aunt Sam was their favorite aunt. They all have stories of their sleepovers with her enjoying ice cream and acting silly together. Aunt Sam was their “go to person” when Mom said no!

She is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, William “Billy” Webb, sons, Zachary and Jacob Webb and stepson, Bryan Webb; her mother, Ruth (Gary) Ennis her siblings, Pam (Robert Brown) McDonald, Norwood (Heidi) Burke Jr., Danielle Burke, Christopher Ennis and Leila Ennis, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sam was preceded in death by her grandparents, Freeman and Pauline Burke, Jack and Ann Biles and her father, Norwood Burke Sr.
