OVID FIRE RELIEF FUND

Community Bank, NY in cooperation with the Ovid

Federated Church, Village of Ovid, and Town of Ovid, have

opened an account under the Church's 501c3 oversight.

Donations may be made at the Village Offices or the Community Bank.

Funds may also be deposited via Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle - Further information will be

forthcoming when those platforms have been set up.

 Checks can also be mailed to Ovid Fire Relief Fund, c/o Community Bank NA, PO Box 389, Ovid, New York 14521. 

Funds will be disbursed using prepaid VISA cards to victims burned out of their

apartments and employees of lost businesses as equitably as possible. Cards will be

 distributed to those eligible at the Village Office during their normal hours of operations.

The initial distribution will take place in late February.

The Final distribution will take place in July, or when the fund is closed.

100% of funds will be disbursed to victims, with no administrative or other deductions.

Copies of bank statements will be provided to the Village, Town, and Church monthly

for the duration of the fund.
