Luther John Cole

Master Chief Luther “John” Cole, passed away on Sunday October 23rd at Geneva General Hospital, surrounded by his Loving wife of 31 years, and family. A veteran of 28 years of service in the U.S. Navy Seabees, serving 3 tours in Vietnam, and earning The Purple Heart. John was a proud serviceman and American, but even more proud of the accomplishments of his family.

He is Survived by his wife Kathy Cole of Orlando Florida, a daughter, Jennifer (Wayne) Rutherford of Orlando, Florida, a son, Steve Blakley of Seneca Falls, his grandsons; Christian Smith (Jenna), currently serving in the US Navy in Rota, Spain and Nathan Blakley of Syracuse, and great grandchildren Caden and Scarlett Smith.

John also touched the lives of many others, with his helpful heart. He will truly be missed by everyone who was blessed to meet him.
