Marj was born at home in Romulus on May 24, 1938, a daughter of the late David and Marian (Auten) Wilson.

Marj participated in her community in many ways. She worked at a local grocery store. She served on the South Seneca school board for 14 years. She brought joy to others by acting and singing in the South Seneca Community Productions, and she was highly invested in her church, Ovid Federated Church.

But what she will be remembered most for is the impact she had in the lives of others. She cared for all those who life brought before her. She helped working parents, by taking care of many children from multiple families. She loved them as her own and gave them a strong foundation in life to build on.

She was an amazing mother who not only embraced her own children with selfless love, but any of their friends who entered their home experienced it as well. She was generous with her time and took to their interests and encouraged them always through every journey.

Her grandchildren will remember her for her personal investment into their lives, playing games and always seeking what was best for them.

Marj simply showed her love for others through acts of service. She would send cards for any reason with notes of encouragement. If you received them, you know what we mean. She would bake for others, she would find reasons to pull friends and family together, because she knew it mattered. She would also offer comfort for those who lost a loved ones, by singing at funerals.

Marj Clark was a gift to many and she will be greatly missed.

Marj is survived by her four children, John Clark, Stephen (Lori) Clark, Richard (Stephanie) Clark, and Sandra (Mike) Greene; four grandchildren, Isaac, Marina, Riley, and Darwin; siblings, Gene Wilson, David Wilson, Nancy Covert, and Carol Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marj was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Douglas C. Clark; and siblings, Jim Wilson and Dick Wilson.
