A. Davis Dorothy

Dorothy A. Davis, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at Geneva General Hospital on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Dorothy would like nothing more than a party to celebrate and commemorate her life, therefore, the family is hosting an open house at their home, 4505 Kings Corners Road. They will receive friends from Noon to 6:00pm on Friday, July 6, 2018. Kindly consider a donation in Dorothy❜s memory to the Edith B. Ford Memorial Library, PO Box 410, Ovid, NY 14521, which was a cause that Dorothy felt very strongly about supporting.

Dorothy was born on September 17, 1949 in Patterson, NJ, the only child of Joseph and Mae (McLaughlin) Poitras. She graduated from high school in Cranford, NJ and attended Drew University. Dorothy furthered her education throughout her lifetime, taking courses at local campus❜ and online. She was a devoted wife and mother, dedicating her time and work to providing the best home possible for her family.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Paul C. Davis and her loving daughter, Olivia (Matthew Snyder) Davis of Croton Falls, NY, and a large extended family centered in Bayonne, NJ.
