A. Russo Kathleen

Kathleen A. Russo, age 70, of 5280 State Route 89, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

Kathy was born on November 6, 1947 in Binghamton, NY, a daughter of the late Carl and Lucia (Sisti) Jackson. She was a 1965 graduate of Greene High School with high honors, received her Bachelor❜s degree from SUNY Brockport in 1965, and her Masters degree in English Education from Elmira College.

Kathy owned and co-founded Interlough Nursery School in Romulus in 1973, and taught English at Romulus Central School from 1988 to 1999, and had been an active board member of the Seneca County Children❜s Committee.

She is survived by her three sons, Jon C. (Louise) Russo of Cherry Hill, NJ, C. Anthony (Leigh Ann) Russo of Honeoye Falls, NY, and Matthew (Lauren) Russo of Syracuse, NY; her loving granddaughters, Sofia, Lina, Alice, Anna and Anelia; her sisters, Lucinda, Theresa, Audrey and Amy; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth.

At Kathy❜s request, there will be no formal services, kindly remember her with a smile and warm thoughts of the positive influences she had in the community.
