A. Stevens Linda

Linda A. Stevens, age 75, of 6938 State Route 96A, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 30, 2018.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken, with Rev. David Leonard of the Interlaken Reformed Church officiating. Linda was born in Auburn, NY on September 11, 1942. She had worked at Willard Psychiatric as a therapy aide, and furthered her education at Community College of the Finger Lakes. She proudly became a registered nurse and continued her 30 year career on the night shift at Willard. Even after her retirement, she worked at Willard DTC as a per diem nurse. Linda also trained as a clown, and as ‶Rokie″ she attended many children❜s events and parades. She was married to Bob Stevens in 1985, and together they wintered in Lakeland, FL for many years.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert E. Stevens; a son, Darryl E. Crane of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; step-children, Shera (Gordon) Marshall of Interlaken, Thomas (Brenda) Stevens of Mynot, ND; and the grandchildren she adored, Steffanie (Mark) Messmer, Scott (Britni) Marshall, Kayla and Talon Stevens, and a her great-grandchildren, Isabella and Mark Messmer; and a lifetime friend, Dolores Moon of Ithaca. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher D. Crane in 1995.
