A. Borzansky Marjorie

Marjorie A. Borzansky, age 94, of 3344 State Route 96A, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30am at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street in Ovid. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday at St. Francis Solanus Church in Interlaken, with Fr. Bernard Maloney OFMCap as celebrant. Marge was born on August 22, 1923 in Warren, CT, a daughter of the late Michael and Nellie Bulwitt. She graduated from the St. Mary❜s School of Nursing in Waterbury and attended Catholic University in Washington DC. Marge worked at the Hartford Visiting Nurse Association, Hartford Hospital Coronary Unit, and retired as the Executive Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Northeastern Connecticut. She and her husband, (Joseph) moved to Interlaken in 1978 from their home in Harwinton, CT and she was an active parishioner at St. Francis Solanus Church, where she taught religious education and provided altar flowers for many years.

She is survived by her children, Michael J. Borzansky of Interlaken, William E. (Tammy) Borzansky of Adams Center, NY, Barbara A. (John) Carr of Bantam, CT, Elizabeth J. (Jacob) Russell of Interlaken, and James C. (Hye Un) Borzansky of Lexington, KY; 3 grandchildren and a sister, Agnes B. Hull of Lempster, NH. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph in 2005, and by her sisters, Helen Abling and Felicia Swift.
