A. Morrell Nonavah

Nonavah A. ‶Nonie″ Morrell, age 81, formerly of Romulus, died unexpectedly at her home in Seneca Falls on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

In recognition of Nonie❜s life, the family will host a reception at the American Legion Post #463 in Ovid on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00pm, all are invited to attend. Nonie was born in Interlaken on February 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Robert and Marian (Emmons) Babcock. She was married to Robert G. Morrell on August 27, 1950, and she spent most of her years as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. At one point she had worked at the P&C in Penn Yan and Traders Village, in addition to driving the Amish in her later years. Nonie was very proud of her ever growing family, which included many pets over the years.

She is survived by her children; Donna (Jim) Aldridge, Robert G. Morrell Jr., Roxanne L. (Bill) Bunning, Donald L. Morrell, Kim (Donald) Dixon, Kent (Donna) Morrell, Kelly (Darren Porter) Meyers and Daryl (Lori Bennett) Morrell, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren, a sister, Kay (Bill) Pagano of Texas and her pets, Cocoa, Heidi and Chubs. Nonie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert G. Morrell in 2013.
