Priscilla A. Grabowski passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2014 as a result of a tragic automobile accident.
She was born on March 24, 1937, a daughter of Harry W. and Nellie B. Hatch, in Freehold, NJ. Priscilla❜s family moved to Upstate New York where she and her sisters helped on her parent❜s dairy farm in Lodi, NY. She graduated from Ovid Central High School and worked at Cornell University for 20 years as a secretary. She was married to Stanley Grabowski and resided in Ovid, NY for many years where she and Stanley enjoyed owning and racing thoroughbred horses at Finger Lakes Race Track in Farmington. After her husband❜s death, she moved to Winter Haven, FL with her companion, Ralph Bacon. There she was active in the church choir at St. Joseph❜s Catholic Church, where she sang for many years, which included a trip to Europe to sing at various churches.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Graboski; her companion, Ralph Bacon and a special friend, Larry Fortino. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy C. Carpentier of Bangor, ME and Betty J. Youst of Ovid, NY and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church with interment at West Lodi Cemetery, all of which will be announced in the Spring of 2015.
