A. Rustyak Stephen

STEPHEN A. RUSTYAK, age 92, of 7141 Prospect Street and formerly of Ithaca, passed away at the Pathway Home in Seneca Falls on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Steve was born in Ithaca on July 12, 1926, a son of the late Albert B. and Rosa Rustyak. He graduated from Ithaca High School and proudly served his country in the US Army during WWI, earning the Purple Heart for his bravery. At one time he worked at Cornell University and at GE in Syracuse, the majority of his career was working in radio maintenance and design at ITHACO. In his retirement, repaired and refurbished antique tube radios.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Hilda Horton Rustyak, his sons, Michael Rustyak of Ithaca, Steve Rustyak of Newfield and Frank Rustyak of Huntington, Long Island, 4 grandchildren, his wife❜s children and a sister, Rose Osvath. Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah.
