A.″Bill″ Hartigan William

William A.”Bill” Hartigan, age 84, of Main Street in Romulus, died at Geneva General Hospital on Sunday, March 30, 2014. A Scripture Service, officiated by Fr. Bart Minson, OFMCap, will be held at Covert Funeral Home in Ovid at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 Bill was born in Utica, NY on August 18, 1929, a son of Irish immigrants, William and Margareh (Thorne) Hartigan. Although many of the details from his early years are unknown, for the past 40 years he has made his home with the Morocco family in Romulus. During that time, he had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States. He was an avid weather watcher and stayed current with local and world news. He spent countless hours at the family pool listening to his favorite music. Bill enjoyed his casino trips and quiet time with the friendly pets in the comfort of his home. He was just a kind hearted Irish gentleman that would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his caregiver, Barb Morocco, his best friend of 40 years, Tom Kelly and the large extended Morocco Family. Bill was preceded in death by his other caregiver, Sam Morocco in 2003.
