Adam C. Covert, age 44, of 7410 State Route 414, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 24, 2023

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00pm at Covert Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2023.  A memorial service will then be led by family friend, Pastor David Leonard of Interlaken Reformed Church. Interment will be held privately at Lake View Cemetery at a later date.

Adam was born in Ithaca on April 9, 1978, the youngest son of Don and Kathleen (nee Stewart) Covert.  He was a 1996 graduate of South Seneca High School.  He had worked as a graphic designer and installer at Sign-A-Rama for several years following graduation. Adam was passionate about sports - a diehard Yankees and NY Giants fan. He had recently completed two years of sobriety following a successful rehabilitation program in Pennsylvania, his sudden death was not related to his former issues with addiction.

He is survived by his father; Don (Marsha) Covert of Ovid, a brother; Richie Covert of Trumansburg; his niece and nephew, Jordan and Paige, the extended Covert and Stewart families and a host of friends. Adam was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Covert in 2016 and by is aunt Diane (Ed) Godley.
