Aneta S. Glover

Aneta S. Glover, longtime resident of Main Street in Interlaken, died at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo on November 1, 2024.

Aneta was born in Poughkeepsie on March 1, 1943, the daughter of the late Tracey and Frances (nee Medlock) Glover. She had worked as an office assistant in various parts of New York before moving back to Interlaken in 1992.  Aneta was a frequent contributor to the Interlaken Review, attending municipal and school board meetings and community events in order to report the local news. Aneta was also involved with many community programs within Interlaken. For many years she was a member of Searsburg Community Church, for a time she was secretary and also played piano for Sunday services. With the assistance of her friend Brian, she was able to remain social by visiting the local restaurants.

Aneta was preceded in death by her parents, Tracey Glover and Frances Schmidt and by an infant brother, Norman.

A graveside service will be held at Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken at 2:00pm on Friday November 8, 2024.
