Arthur Goodman Kirk

Kirk Arthur Goodman, age 42, of Conklin and formerly of Ovid passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Ovid Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to suicide prevention or veterans with PTSD, in Kirk❜s memory.

Kirk was born on July 17, 1971 in Waterloo, a son of Harold and Phyllis (Hazard) Goodman. Upon graduation from South Seneca High School, Kirk joined the United States Army he proudly served his country for five years during the Persian Gulf War and was honorably discharged in 1994. He worked for several years as a tattoo artist and piercing professional until he obtained his truck driver❜s license.

Kirk is survived by his mother, Phyllis Goodman of Lebanon, PA; three brothers, Carl B. (Joan) Murray of Ovid, John F. Murray of Atlanta, GA, and Eric H. (Kathy Rockholz) Goodman of PA; a sister, Rita Armstrong of Lebanon, PA; and close friends, His 607 MC family, his extended MC family, His Highline family, and his extended music famliy and Colleen (Buck) Staples. He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Pearl Hazard; and second father, Jon Murray.
