Audrey M. Dawson

Audrey M. Dawson, age 87, passed away at Geneva General Hospital on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Audrey was born in Ithaca on January 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Merlin and Maud (Goodwin) Mabie. A graduate of Interlaken Central Schools in 1952, Audrey spent many years working at Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca and working in the Baccile Vineyards of Burdett.

She is survived by her children, Crissy Dawson, Lewis (Kim) Dawson, Amy (Dan) Sabol, John (Pam) Dawson and William Dawson; her sisters, Nancy, Phyllis and Norma; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Audrey was preceded in death by her infant daughter Beverly; grandson Lewis Dawson II, and the father of her children John L. Dawson III.

A memorial service will be held at Covert Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 7th at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg.
