Harold B. Yonge, age 53, formerly of Route 89 in Interlaken, died unexpectedly on April 12, 2016 in Denver, Colorado.

Harold was born in Waterloo on October 10, 1962, a son of the late Charles Rote and Mary Lou Yonge Rote. Graduated from South Seneca High school. He served his country in the US Navy from 1981-1985. He had worked in the food service department of Cornell University for more than 15 years, and moved to Colorado a few years ago. In Denver, he also worked in food service at Park View Care Center. Harold had been an avid bowler, and played in Ithaca Leagues for several years and loved working in his flower gardens.

He is survived by his aunt, Betty (Robert) Blake of Blossvale, NY and uncle, Earl [Carol) Yonge of Trumansburg and their families. Uncle Roy Bucket, Waterloo NY, 3step sisters and brother Linda, Lisa and Kenny and foster sister Patty. Special friend Linda Parker-Grisel, Melody, Elaine and Jacci. Besides his Parents, Harold was predeceased by his grandparents Ralph and Daisy Yonge,and Aunt Anna, Uncle Fred, cousins Annie and Doreen.

A memorial ceremony, officiated by Fr. James Fennessy, will be held at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
