Barbara Ann “ Barb” Walters, age 88, of Lodi passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023.
In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services. The family asks those that would like to make a donation in Barbara’s memory to kindly consider North Seneca Ambulance, 1645 North Road, Waterloo, NY 13165.
Barb was born in Kendall, New York on January 13, 1935, a daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Kulig) Wetzel. She served in the United States Army and became an LPN. Barbara retired from the Dick VanDyke Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center where she worked as a counselor.
Barb was proud of being a founding member and EMT at North Seneca Ambulance alongside her husband, Bob. She was active as a junior bowling coach, little league softball coach, and assisted with making costumes and sets for the Seneca Community Players. In later years, Barb enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, completing all types of puzzles, and camping in the Adirondacks.
Barb is survived by her children, Robin Morganti, Christopher (Toey) Walters, Jeffrey (Dawn) Walters, Timothy (Carrie) Walters, Paul Walters, and Holly Hunt; grandchildren, Andrea Morganti, Rachel (Tony) Prosser, Tiffany Parish, Shealynne, Donovan, and Cullan Riley, Robert (Alycia) Walters, Kendall (Jeff), Bobby, and Christy Walters, and Jonathan (Alisha) and Joshua (Heather) Koeberle; great grandchildren, Ava and June Parish, and Rohen, Maelynn, Gavin, and Mackenzie Koeberle; sister, Delores Clark; and three nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Walters in 2016.
