Bert “Roger” Jermy-Keach, age 57, passed away peacefully at his Main Street home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 following an extended cancer illness.

Bert was born in Olean, NY on September 10, 1965, a son of the late John and Mary Lou (nee Nelligan) Jermy and a graduate of Kenmore West High School. He had most recently worked as a materials handler at ABX Packaging Solutions in Macedon, even during his cancer treatments, working as recently as 2 weeks ago. He had been an avid hiker and survivalist for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Keach; his children, Bert Jr., John, and Becky Jermy all of Niagara Falls and Joann Jermy of Medina; his siblings, Tommy, BobbiJo Jermy of Niagara Falls and Kevin Jermy of North Tonawanda; his stepchildren, Victoria Orlinda and Terri Eve (Anthony Shenk) Mosher; several grandchildren and a large extended family.  Roger was preceded in death by his brother, John and infant sister, Vickie and his mother-in-law, Orlinda Keach.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at Geneva American Legion  Winnek Post, 1011 Route 5&20, Geneva, NY 14456, from 1:00 to 3:00 on Sunday, August 20, 2023.  In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to: V Foundation for Cancer Research  www.v.org.
