Carol J. Bond, longtime resident of Ovid and Willard, died at Pathway Home in Seneca Falls on Thursday, May 20. 2021

At Carol’s request, there will be no services and her ashes will be scattered privately.

Carol was born in Seneca Falls on April 3, 1948, a daughter of the late Stanley Lee and Josephine (Hancy) Vaughn Sr.  She had a long career at Willard Psychiatric Center, retiring as a therapy aide.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy L. Bond of Seneca Falls and Janelle L. Bond of Canandaigua; her grandchildren,Serenity, Richard E. Thomas II, , Mariah, Brianna and Jon Bond; her siblings, Herbert (Mary) Vaughn of North Rose, Clara (Sam) Cuffe of Port Byron, Joan Bisbee of Seneca Falls; a niece, Tina Pratt of Tennessee and all of their families; her lifelong friend Helen Lerch and friends Jeff and Jennie Wells.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Bond and companion Robert Habalou; her siblings Gary Vaughn, Stanley Vaughn Jr., Lois Robenalt, Luella Morgan and Gladys Nucci.
