Christopher M. Rappolt

Christopher M. Rappolt, age 73, of 1915 Smith Road, died unexpectedly at Geneva General Hospital on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Chris was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on September 26, 1948, a son of the late Ernst and Hedwig Rappolt. He earned his master’s degree in French Linguistics, and worked as a Kennel Manager while in college. He was married to Barbara Daniels in 1980.  His love of animals led to a lifelong career in animal medicine, and they had owned a veterinary clinic in Pittston, Pennsylvania for many years.  Upon moving to Lodi, he began working at Riverside Veterinary Hospital in Scottsville, NY and was still working at the time of his death. Chris was an active member of the Seneca Baptist Bible Church in Seneca Falls.
