Christopher M. Wilson

Christopher M. Wilson, age 35, lifetime resident of the Ovid area, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 6, 2021, following a recent hospitalization for diabetes treatment.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at the Ovid VFW at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Chris was born in Geneva on September 29, 1985, the son of Michael and Jennifer (Coleman) Wilson. He graduated from South Seneca High School and had worked in various retail position in the area until his health prevented him from working.  He was a long time member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #463 in Ovid.

Chris is survived by his wife of 12 years, Jean Haggerty Wilson and their son, Matthew; his siblings; Jessica (Josh) Wilson of Bolivar, NY and Nicholas Wilson of Rochester and his father, Mike (Dianna) Wilson of Romulus and the extended Coleman and Haggerty families.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer LaPrade in 2019.
