Craig O''Connell Michael

Michael Craig O❜Connell, 56, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts died suddenly on July 3rd, 2016.

He was born in Geneva, New York, on September 22, 1959, the son of Joann (Collins) O❜Connell of Oneida, New York and the late Paul A. O❜Connell, Jr.
He was raised in Ovid, New York, and was a graduate of South Seneca High School. He attended SUNY Delhi and Niagara University where he earned his Associate❜s and Bachelor❜s degrees in hotel management. Craig worked in sales in the Food and Beverage industry and was a former longtime Bedford, Mass. resident.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children: Hannah, Madeleine, and Finn O❜Connell, all of Bedford, Mass; his sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Michel DeBottis; his nephews and nieces, Brian, Molly, Kevin, and Shannon DeBottis, all of Oneida, New York.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from11:00 am to Noon at Covert Funeral Home on Main Street in Ovid, services will then follow at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Lesley Adams of Christ Church in Willard. Prayers of committal will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the restoration project of The Three Bears in Ovid, NY, at: Friends of the Three Bears PO Box 75, Ovid, NY 14521.
