D. Landis Dennis

Dennis D. Landis, age 74, longtime resident of Route 336, died on Monday, August 8, 2017 at Geneva General Hosptial.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the West Fayette Presbyterian Chruch, 1063 Route 336. Interment will be held at the church cemetery.

Dennis was born on February 23, 1943, the only child of the late Willis D. and Dorothy (Nuhn) Landis. Upon completion of high school, he worked at Willard Psychiatric Center as a therapy aide, operated his own excavation business and later was a long haul truck driver. Dennis was a founding member of the MacDougall Sportsmen❜s Club.

He is survived by his sons; James Landis of Seneca Falls, Kirk (Deanna) Landis of Penfield; and his grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon Landis. Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Michael Landis in 2008.
