Dawn M. Stedge, age 54, of Main Street in Willard, died at Geneva General Hospital on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 following an extended illness.
Dawn was born in Waterloo on June 11, 1967, a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence Porter Champion. She was a graduate of South Seneca High School, and had worked at Geneva General Hospital and later at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls.
Dawn enjoyed many hobbies including crafts and cake decorating. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing. Dawn loved her family fiercely, especially her grandchildren. Her face would always light up when she spoke about them. Dawn loved big family gatherings.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Ralph B. Stedge; their children, Kalyn (Jonathan) Digimas of Morris, CT and Haden A. Stedge of Fort Walton, FL and Brandon M. Stedge of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Peighton, Jaden, Jameson, Sophia, Trace and Mikaela; her siblings, Jeffrey (Lenora) Champion of Terrell, TX, Tammy (Mike) Reynolds of Interlaken and a large extended family. Dawn was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Granger.
The family is planning a private picnic to celebrate Dawn’s life, kindly remember her by donating to the Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165 in her memory.
