RUTH E. SCHMIDT
INTERLAKEN-Ruth E. Schmidt, age 80, of Interlaken, passed away quickly and quietly at home on Wednesday, August 19, 2018.
Born on February 11, 1938, in Bohemia, NY, Ruth was the daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret (Ness) Clerke.
Ruth was known for her work with the Ovid Library, and the shop she owned for many years with her late husband, Carl, Rock River Model Hobbies.
She is survived by her sons, Carl M. Schmidt, of Interlaken, and John Schmidt, of Rochester; her brother, Bob Clerke; and her sisters, Barbara Borreca, and Dottie Sullivan.
Services will be held privately.
