Eddie E. Miller Jr.

Eddie E. Miller Jr., age 64, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester.

Ed was born in Lyons on January 22, 1960, a son of Eddie E. and Judith (nee Barr) Miller Sr. He grew up in Waterloo and attended Waterloo High School, after which he worked as a truck driver at both Paige Trucking of Weedsport and DC Rauscher Inc. of Waterloo.  Along with truck driving, he operated heavy equipment and worked on small engines for 30 years, which was his passion. If it was broken, Eddie could fix it!

Eddie was a loving and adoring father and Papa, he lived for his grandbabies and found happiness in their eyes. A more devoted Dad and Papa just doesn’t exist.

He is survived by his children; Makayla (Paul)Miller, Michael (Hannah Rose) Miller, and Lucas (Rosemary) Miller; his grandchildren, Lucas, Vanessa, Weylyn, Michael, Maverick, Leo and Ruthie Faye, his mother, Judith (Timothy) McCarthy and sister Dawn Trickler; his companion, Arlene Lewis, and the mother of his children, Loretta Woodard. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, his son, Eddie E. Miller III, a brother, Paul and his sister Judy-Ann and his good friend, Dave Reynolds.
