G. Vannostrand Thomas

Thomas G. VanNostrand, age 62, passed away October 19, 2015 peacefully at Geneva General Hospital with family and friends by his side.

The family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. Prayers of Committal will immediately follow at 3:00pm in Holy Cross Cemetery in Ovid.

Tom was a graduate of South Seneca High School in 1971 and was a college graduate of Canton ATC in 1973.

He is survived by his sister Terry (Don) Taber; a son and daughter; three nephews; and four grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Gerald in 1972 and his mother, Margaret in 1986.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to close friends Carol Birdsall, Laurie Butler, and Nancy Whitford.
