Edward Henry O❜Connor, age 85, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, surrounded by his family at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.

Edward was born on February 11, 1930 to Charles and Gertrude (Speich) O❜Connor and graduated from Waterloo Central School. He served in the United States Army from 1949-1953 to the rank of Sergeant and later worked at the Seneca Army Depot as an Industrial Mechanic until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Ovid Federated Church, the Interlaken Farmersville Lodge 0183, and the Waterloo VFW.

Edward married Lillian Beaujon on October 31, 1953 and they were married for 40 years, until her death on March 15, 1994. He is survived by his three daughters Robin (Robert) Bullivant, Kym O❜Connor, and Sheila (Mukles) Haddad; grandchildren Todd Bullivant, Greg (Pamela) Bullivant, Erik Haddad, Jason (Brittany Fignar) Haddad, and Amanda (Christopher) Taggart; great-granddaughter Allison Lillian Bullivant; brother Jack (Linda) O❜Connor and sister Elizabeth (Chuck) Price. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gertrude O❜Connor, his wife, Lillian, and his siblings Harvey, Harold, Vernice, Margaret, and James.

Calling hours will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 21, at the Ovid Federated Church. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the memorial funds of the Ovid Federated Church, Interlaken Reformed Church, or St. Francis Solanus.
