H. Beers Stanley Jr.

Stanley H. Beers Jr., age 47, of Verona Village died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street in Ovid from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Following the visitation, Mr. and Mrs. Beers invite friends and family to their home at 2518 Parish Road in Ovid. Stanley, also known as Jr. or Jay, was born on February 23, 1967 in Seneca Falls, the only son of Stanley H. and A. Joanne (White) Beers Sr. He attended Mynderse Academy, and had worked in various manufacturing facilities through the SeneCayuga ARC. Junior was very sociable and friendly, and loved playing cards, fishing and was an avid computer gamer. Many hours were invested into building remote control cars as well.

Junior is survived by his parents, Stanley and A. Joanne Beers Sr. of Ovid; a sister, Yvonne Beers of Ovid; and children, Kori, Amanda, Alyssa, Jake, James and Jayla, also survived by wife Mary Beers and stepchildren Jamie, Jordan and Joshua Blaisdell; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Junior was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
