Jacob T. Webb

Jacob T. Webb, age 17, loving son, brother and friend was sadly taken far too soon. He was born on June 5, 2007 in Salisbury, Maryland and died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from complications of lifelong medical condition

Jacob was very well known for his sharp wit, brutal honesty, and dark humor. There was never a time he didn’t have a response or a comeback.

 Like his father and brother, he had a passion for video games. At any point, day and night, he could be heard from his bedroom engaging in entertaining banter with his online gaming buddies. Playing board games at home with his cousins always turned into an adventure with Jacob. When not gaming, Jacob could be found at Texas Roadhouse in Ithaca, where he was proud to be part of their “Roadie” crew.

 Jacob cared deeply for his family. He was protective by nature, and always willing to help, especially during his mother’s battle with cancer. Since his passing, his beloved cat Pepper, has struggled to understand where her favorite person went.

 Jacob is survived by his father, William “Billy” and brothers Zachary and Bryan Webb; grandparents, Ruth and Gary Ennis and Joy Webb; aunts and uncles, Pam (Robert Brown) McDonald, Jerry (Heidi) Burke, Danielle (Ryan Barber) Burke: cousins, Christopher Ennis, Leila Ennis, Avery Burke, Brian Burke, Aleigha Burke, Taisa Farrel, Remi Burke, Tim Reynolds, Lincoln Burke, Kennedy McCormack, Joseph McDonald and Delaney McDonald. Jacob was preceded in death by his loving mother, Samantha in 2024; and by his grandfathers, Norwood Burke and William Webb.

 The family will receive friends and loved ones at Covert Funeral Home in Ovid on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00pm. Also, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Ovid VFW Post from 4:00 to 6:00pm the same day.
