Jerilea O. Garfield Day

HECTOR-Jerilea O. Garfield Day, age 88, longtime resident of State Route 414, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Jeri was born in Sayre, PA on September 5, 1935, the only daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (nee Decker) O’Neil. She earned her place in the local antique circles as a professional, owning Jacksonville Antiques and the Interlaken Auction House, and continued online and with shop at her home for decades.  She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother and most recently became a great grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Scott) Porter of Ovid; granddaughters, Amanda (Keith) Vavra of Geneva and Hannah (Matt Shevchuk) of Fairport and great granddaughter, Sophia Vavra.  Jeri was preceded in death by her son, Lee Garfield in 2020 and by her brother, Dennis O’Neil.

At Jeri’s request, services will be held privately by her family.
