L. Kelley Debra

Debra L. Kelley, age 62, formerly of Ithaca, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Rock River Road in Interlaken, on December 4, 2015.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street in Ovid.

Debra was born in Ithaca, NY on May 12, 1953, a daughter of Glenn and Beverly (Martin) Sears. She graduated from Ithaca High School and had worked for Tompkins County, first in the probation department and then retiring from the Department of Social Services, where she had been in the office of child support. Debbie then worked as a teller at M & T Bank in Seneca Falls. Deb was an artist inspired by nature, birds and flowers. She loved life and chased the sun.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly Sears of Van Buren, AR; a daughter, Sarah Glassey and her children, Evan, Eoin and Iain, all of Lisburn, Northern Ireland; her siblings, Sherri Shafrick and Jeff Sears of Akansas, and Pam Barnhart of Arizona, along with a large extended family.
May she rest among the wildflowers.
