Donna L. Parish, age 71, of Geneva, passed away at Geneva General Hospital on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

A Celebration of Donna❜s Life will be held from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the American Legion, 2083 West Seneca Street in Ovid. With Donna being a breast cancer survivor, the family asks those who wish to make a donation in her memory to please consider the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway Suite 480, Columbia, MD 21044. Interment will be held privately at Sand Hill Cemetery in Geneva.

Donna was born in Geneva on December 6, 1946, a daughter of the late Charlie and Evelyn (Smith) Mollenkopf. She worked at Willard Psychiatric Center as a therapy aide for several years while raising her children. Donna enjoyed playing softball for the Willard Psychiatric team and many of the same women from the team remained friends, turning in their softball uniforms for playing euchre. She was a life member of the Ovid VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, Legion Euchre Club, and Moose Lodge. Over the years, Donna enjoyed camping throughout New York and always looked forward to camping at the State Fair.

Donna is survived by her husband, Ron Parish; four children, Penny (Joe Buttaccio Jr.) Lanza, DJ (Crystal) Russell, James (Judy) Russell, and Rob Masella; five grandchildren, Jessica Lanza, Michael (Emily), Cassandra, and James Russell Jr., and Jennifer Hoffman; two great grandchildren, Jasmine Lanza and Harper Russell; three siblings, Doris (Edward) Smith, David (Debra) Mollenkopf, and Chuck (April) Mollenkopf; and extended grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Betty.
