L. Perez Marie

Marie L. Perez, age 41, died on Saturday, December 17, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00am, a Memorial Service will then follow at 11:00am, officiated by Rev. Adam Porter of the Covert Baptist Church.

Marie was born on March 22, 1975 in California, of Guamanian parents, and raised by her loving grandparents. She moved to New York five years ago, and has made her home in the Romulus area. She had worked at WalMart in Waterloo, The Bixby Home in Interlaken, and McDonalds in Ovid. She was a caregiver to many home bound senior citizens, and found great joy in being able to help others. Marie loved her children, and her two youngest girls were the highlight of her life. She had a determined spirit and quick wit, which made her so lovable.

She is survived by her fiancé, Leonard Carlsen of Romulus; her children, Elaina Carlsen, Jasmin Uresti, Grace, William, Joey, and Nina; her Aunt Betty and cousin, Tiara; her fiancé❜s parents, Len and Tina Carlsen; and a large extended family.
