L. Ware Stacey

Stacey L. Ware, age 56, passed away at Geneva General Hospital on Saturday, November 24th, 2018, surrounded by family.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday November 30th, 2018 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street in Ovid. A Celebration of Stacey❜s Life will be hosted by the family at the Ovid VFW Post 6200, from 1 to 3pm on Saturday, December 1st, 2018. Stacey was born in the state of Washington on May 14, 1962. He served as a Drill Sargent in the US Army for 21 years. He then worked as a corrections officer at Willard DTC.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Pasqua-Ware; his children, Felicity and James Gibson, Brittany (Frank) Fratto, Krystal, Kassandra, Ronald, and January Nardozzi , Sandra (Daniel) Vaughn, Brock (Teeka) Ware as well as 19 grandchildren; his father, Bobby (Judy) Ware of Washington, and his mother, Wanda (Ken) Hulse of Arizona; his brothers, Tim Ware of Colorado, Scott Ware of Washington and Terry (Boo) Lind of Washington.
