Larry E. Cooper, age 57, passed away at home with his family on Saturday, April 24, 2021, after a long and courageous fight with cancer.
Larry was born in Ithaca on December 30, 1963, a son of the late Stephen and Adelaide (Sarsfield) Cooper. He proudly served his country as member of the Army from 1983-1986. Larry had worked for over 20 years as a delivery truck driver for Peterman Lumber in Seneca Fall until his cancer diagnosis. Larry was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing in addition to being a huge NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Cooper; two daughters, Amanda Cooper and Angela Fox; his siblings; Michael (Brenda) Cooper of Ovid, Mark (Tammy) Cooper of Texas, Lynn Jackson of Tennessee, Mary Davis of Ovid, and Doreen (Ron) Elzinga of Michigan; his grandchildren, Noah, Hannah and Neriah Fox and Renee Huff; a host of nieces and nephews, and an aunt, Shirley Cooper of Syracuse. Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Cooper, a sister, Sandy Luoma, a nephew Tommy Davis and brother in law, George Davis.
