Lois E. Jennings, age 89, passed away at her home on Friday, November 11, 2016.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Lodi Presbyterian Church, officiated by Pastor Jim Yao. Prayers of committal will be held privately at West Lodi Cemetery. Kindly consider a donation to the Lodi Presbyterian Church in Lois❜ memory, of which she was a member for many years.

Lois was born in Ithaca, on May 9, 1927, the only child of the late Leon and Marion (Ferris) Wyckoff. Upon graduation from the Interlaken High School, she attended Rochester Business Institute. While raising her family she worked as an Insurance Broker and assisted in the law office of her brother in law, Charles Jennings. Lois had a long career in local politics, serving as the Lodi Town Clerk for 48 years, Lodi Republican Committee Chairperson, Secretary of the Seneca County Republican Committee, State Republican Delegate. She was interested and involved in the Lodi Fireman❜s Auxiliary, Lodi Historical Society, Easter Star, American Legion Post #463 Auxiliary, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She will be dearly remembered as a strong and independent woman who will be missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, George R. Jennings, Bradford C. (Kristin) Jennings and Roxanne D. (Bruce) Jennings Ross; her grandchildren, Shane M., Ryan N., Brittany M., Austin J., and Dakota C. Jennings and Brett M. Ross; a great granddaughter, Paige Olivia Scott-Ross and her extended family. Lois was preceded in death by her loving son, Gregory L. Jennings and by her husband of 62 years, George A. Jennings.
