Lois E. Mikkelsen

Lois E. Mikkelsen (Grammy), age 80, of Lodi, died Friday April 27, 2018 at Cayuga Medical Center.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the West Lodi Cemetery. Lois was born on February 9, 1938, a daughter of the late Ellis and Annabell (Steinruck) Weber. She worked at Willard Psychiatric Center in housekeeping for many years before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed watching birds, crocheting, gardening, and country music. Most of all, Lois loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking, putting together weekly Sunday dinners for family.

Lois is survived by her children Sandra (Paul) Adams, Louis Mikkelsen, Nancy (Mark) May, Harold (Penny) Mikkelsen Jr., and Robert Mikkelsen; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Weber (Brenda) and Louis (Betty) Weber; several brothers and sisters in law; beloved dog, Shadow; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2009; and several brothers, sisters, and brothers and sisters in law.
