Lois M. Oberbeck

Lois M. Oberbeck, age 87, of Cayuga Lake Road, died at home under the care of her family on Saturday, September 19, 2015. In keeping with Lois❜ wishes, services will be private for family only. Lois was born on March 31, 1928 in Flat Bush, New York. She worked for several years at Willard Psychiatric Center as a housekeeper. Her most beloved job however was raising her children and family. Lois loved all types of animals, both domestic and wild, and was an avid collector of lawn ornaments and Gimminy Cricket memorabilia.

Lois is survived by her children, David (Spring) Oberbeck of Meshoppen, Penn., Dorthea (Don) Eisman of Williamson, N.Y., Susan (Delbert) Barkman of Ovid, John (Jacquelyn Morrow) Oberbeck of Ovid, Donna (Gary) Hilton of Middlesex, Nancy Johnston of North Carolina, William (Mandy) Oberbeck of Hubert, N.C., and Lois (Jim) Sanderson of Swansboro, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Oberbeck in 2013.
