M. Delong Guy

Guy M. Delong, age 75, passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, November 13, 2015.

Born in the Town of Ovid on December 23, 1939, Guy was the youngest of Frank and Cecil Delong❜s eleven children. Following his time in the Army, Guy worked for over forty years as a truck driver before retiring from Michael Foods, which was based in Minneapolis, MN.

Guy is survived by his sister Frances Steen, of Ithaca; brothers Winfield Delong and Frank Delong, both of Interlaken; sister Bernice Coleman, of Romulus; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Beatrice Rosecrans, Bertha Ferris, Blanche Christensen, Clyde Delong, Marcus Delong, and James Delong.

In keeping with Guy❜s wishes, no services have been planned at this time. A memorial service for friends and family will be announced at a later date. The family asks that you kindly consider a donation in Guy❜s memory to Fairview Cemetery, c/o Naomi Brewer, 7214 Wyers Point Rd., Ovid, NY 14521.
