M. Krupczniski-Lurcock Shirley

Shirley M. Krupczniski-Lurcock, age 45, of 7502 County Road 129, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Cayuga Medical Center

The family will receive friends from 10:30am to Noon on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street, Ovid, NY. A time of remembrance will be at Noon with words of committal at Holy Cross Cemetery in Ovid.

Shirley was born in Penn Yan on November 5, 1970, and had attended the Penn Yan Academy. For the past several years, she has been employed as a direct support specialist at the Mynderse House of FingerLakesDDSO. Shirley was an avid crafter and extreme couponer, and loved spending time with her family.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Ross W. ‶Barney″ Lurcock of Ovid; her children, Holley Comfort of Geneva, Dustin (Chelsey Chandler) Lurcock of Ithaca and TaKoda Lurcock of Ovid, and a granddaughter, LeiAnna Comfort of Geneva: her parents, Roger and Theresa Hurlbert of Geneva; her sisters, Bambi (Jamie) Eldredge of Waterloo and Rhonda (Karl) Wilkins of Clyde and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Comfort Jr. in 2007.
