M. Wells Steven

Steven M. ‶Spaz″ Wells, age 50, died at his home on Ann Street on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

The family will be present at the Ovid VFW Post 6200, 7068 State Route 96, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018 where friends can share memories and stories of Spaz. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in his memory to the Sons of the American Legion Post #463, PO Box 401, Ovid, NY 14521.

Steve was born in Montour Falls on April 29, 1968, son of Norman and Margaret (Hawes) Wells. He was a 1987 graduate of South Seneca High School. For the past many years, Steve has worked as a DJ as local clubs, events and venues, where he shared his love and knowledge of music. In addition, Steve was a talented hobbyist photographer.

He is survived by his brothers, David E. (Ginny Graber) Wells of Lodi, Norman A. (Nancy Peckenpaugh) Wells of Ithaca; a sister, Beth Ann (Steven) McPherson of Panama City, FL and a sister in law, Bobbie Jo Wells of Clarks Summit, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents ‶Zeke″ and ‶Peg″ Wells, and by a brother, Phillip ‶PJ″ Wells.
