Michelle E. Langley, age 63, lifetime resident of Ovid, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Geneva General Hospital.
Michelle was born in Seneca Falls on July 14, 1957, a daughter of the late Richard and Joyce (nee Christopher) Young. She was a 1976 graduate of South Seneca Central School and had worked for many years as co-owner and waitress of Terry’s Tasty Freez. For the past 10 years, she has been a driver of home delivered meals for the Office of the Aging of Seneca County. Michelle was a dedicated member of D. G. Caywood Auxiliary #72 of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War of Ovid - She was currently serving as the New York Department Treasurer, was three times the New York Department President and also served as the National President. As a devoted member of the Ovid Federated Church, she volunteered and served in many capacities to help out her community.
She is survived by her business partner and longtime family companion, Betty J. Baker; her siblings, Tina (John) Anderson of Amarillo, TX, Richard Young of Ovid and Patricia Young of Amarillo, TX, and their families; her step children, Barbara (James) Russell, of Hammondsport, Jody (Kevin) Mullen of Framingham, MA and their families. Michelle leaves behind many extended family and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo at 11:00am on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
