Nicole K. "Buffy" Compton

Nicole "Buffy's K. Compton, age 48 formerly of Ovid passed away on Saturday March 26, 2022 following recent cancer treatments.

Nicole was born in Waterloo, NY September 4, 1973 to Richard B. and Janet (Boudman) Compton. She was a graduate of South Seneca Central School and Alfred State upon which she started her career in auto body and auto mechanics in Finger Lakes area. Then later in worked for Property management in Romulus then Texas and ended in up in Massachusetts where she continued living and working as Deli Manager at Stop & Shop for past few years.

She is survived by her daughter, Kaleigh; her father, Richard Compton; sisters, Barbara (Walter) Prouty, Bernice (John) Miller and Lisa (Jon Roorda) Compton; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.  Nicole was preceded in death by her brother, Richard B. Compton II in 1999 and by her mother, Janet in 2019.

A private graveside service will be held at Ovid Union Cemetery
