P. Bullivant Patricia

Patricia P. Bullivant, age 87, longtime resident of Interlaken, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Geneva General Hospital, following a brief hospitalization.

The family will receive friends from Noon to 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 South Main Street in Ovid. A Funeral Service will then be held at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Diane Walker. Prayers of committal will be held at Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken. Pat was born on July 14, 1928 in Tring Harfordshire, England, a daughter of the late Frank and Gwendolyn (Lovegrove) Burney. After WWII, she came to the United States on the Queen Mary with a toddler, and became a naturalized citizen of the US. With the father of her two sons, they operated Reynolds Variety Store on the Plaza in Ithaca. After their separation, she worked as a machine inspector at NCR, and was married to John Bullivant in 1962. Pat had various jobs after her retirement from NCR, but the one she loved the most was working in the tasting room at Lucas Winery.

She is survived by her children, Gary (Sandra) Reynolds of Watkins Glen, June (Pete) Plumlee of Porterville, CA, Cindy (Gary) Hurley of Ovid, Peggy (John) Terry of Interlaken, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a sister, Pamela (Jack) Williams of Wysox, PA. Pat was preceded in death by her son, William ‶Wink″ Reynolds, her husband, John Bullivant in 2010 and by her brother, Peter Burney.
