Patricia A. Barkman

Patricia A. Barkman, age 61, of Lodi passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street, Ovid. The family asks those that would like to make a contribution in Patti’s memory to kindly consider St. Jude’s or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.

Patti was born in Buffalo on August 18, 1960 a daughter of the late Raymond and Nancy Harrell. She worked for 25 years at the Holiday Inn/Hotel Ithaca. Patti loved collecting wind chimes, owning upwards of 70 that she proudly displayed throughout her home. She enjoyed playing card games on the computer and had several close friendships with women in the area that she cherished deeply.

Patti is survived by her husband, Louis Barkman; children, Patricia Donah-Roedts and Nicholas (Cortney) Barkman; step son, Corey (Courtney) Barkman; grandchildren, Pheobe, Konnor, Hailey, Brayden, Kaitlyn, Kasey, Ryan, Mason, Adelynn, and Aiden; and two brothers, Norman (Kellie) Harrell and David (Kellie) Harrell; brother-in-law Delbert (Sue) Barkman; sister in law Jane (Bob) Bishop; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Harrell.
