Philip A. Strope

Philip A. Strope, age 69, passed away at home on February 26, 2023.

Born on October 7, 1953 in Ithaca, NY to the late Eben A. and Annamay (Daines) Strope. Phil loved everything outdoors including hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed helping family and friends and especially those at Juniper Manor. Phil worked for many years at the State Diner in Ithaca.

He is survived by his sisters Lana Bushey, Debbie (Daniel) Ferrell, Toni (Donald) Corwin; nieces and nephews, Lindsay Bushey, Jessica (Jeff) Denman, Crystal (Richard) Tessaro, Matthew Strope, Michael (Stacy) Albrecht; great nieces and nephews, Anton, Angel, and Emma Tessaro, Casside, and Mikey Blake Jr., Micheal Jr., and Mason Albrecht, and Rieley Roe; family friend William Moon and many Juniper Manor Friends of Trumansburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Terry Strope, Eben Strope Jr.
