Robin L. (Westlake) Bailey

Robin L. Bailey, age 70, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, following a brief hospitalization.

Robin was born on March 5, 1951, in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Donald and Marian (Denson) Westlake. Robin was well involved in her communities during her lifetime. She was a member of the Interlaken Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, and, the Interlaken Sportsman’s club. She served on the board at Jones Cemetery in Trumansburg, and retired from Yates County Emergency Services as a Dispatcher.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Bailey, their son, Jeffrey Bailey, her siblings: Dwight Westlake, Stephen Westlake, and Leanna Eutermark, grandchildren, cousins, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews and many friends who are considered family, all the same. Robin was preceded in death by her parents, and her two sons: Albert and Jason Bailey, and her brother Christopher Phillipson.

The family will receive friends at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street Ovid, from 10:00 to 11:00am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  A funeral service will then be celebrated at 11:00am. A Celebration of her Life gathering will be taking place at a later date to be announced.
