Robert Stephen Ubriaco, 63, of Ovid, NY passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary of 39 years; daughter, Therese (Nicholas) Matthews; son, Stephen (Michelle) Ubriaco; brothers, Thomas (Peggy) Ubriaco, Dennis (Carol) Ubriaco, Dean (Mary) Ubriaco; sisters, Jeanne (Jack) Costello, Janet (Michael) Humiston; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Robert was born in the Bronx on April 19th 1954. He is the son of the late Thomas and Sadina (Riviello) Ubriaco. Robert had a fulfilling career with Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls for over 30 years until his retirement in 2009. Spending time with his family and friends was truly his favorite pastime. Sports were also a huge passion of his with the NY Yankees being his greatest love. For many years, Robert enjoyed officiating both college football and varsity basketball. A model train aficionado since childhood, he was always delighted to share his beloved ‶train room″; an impressive and detailed layout that took up a large space within the family home. Robert could often be found at Turning Stone participating in one of many poker tournaments, out golfing, or taking in a good concert.
In keeping with Robert❜s wishes, there will be no public services.
